La Strada Per I Diecimila!

Hello and welcome everyone to the page for the JIB9/Jibland3 fundraiser

I am proud to say that this will be the 4^th consecutive year that we have run this charity campaign as a show of our continued appreciation, admiration, love and support for Daniela Chiusa and her amazing Jus In Bello team.

Now for those looking at the name of the campaign and wondering what on earth La Strada Per I Diecimila means, then let me tell you it simply translates as The Road To Ten Thousand! We have named the campaign this as the Ten Thousand in the title refers to the $10,000 target (and beyond if possible) we are aiming to raise with your help in 2018

$10,000 is a target that we can definitely achieve as we only have to look at the stats of our previous efforts to prove how we improve year on year

• In 2015 the total raised by the JIB family was $5,000
• In 2016 the total raised by the JIB family was $6,400`
• In 2017 the total raised by the JIB family was $8,845

That equates to an incredible $20,245 raised since we started this journey. The charities that have benefitted include

• Random Acts - $6500
• Bloodwise - $4700
• The National Stroke Association - $3600
• British Red Cross on behalf of the Italian Earthquake Appeal - $2445
• To Write Love On Her Arms - $1500
• International Diabetes Association - $1500

The amazing JIB family proves time and time again just how generous and giving you are so let’s make 2018 our best year yet

FYI – at the time of creating this page, the charity (or charities) we are raising funds for is yet to be decided as the decision is usually influenced by the guests that will attend JIB9/Jibland3.As and when a decision is made then I will post an update
