The C word

Like many of us, she is a mother of 3 beautiful children, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, etc. Her priority, the education and upbringing of her children. She is a worker, a collaborator, always in front, a warrior.

Her life presents her with an immense test, of courage, acceptance and perseverance.

The "C" word. That word that nobody would like to have to pronounce at some point in their lives. That word that scares us when we hear it and that never crosses our minds that it will be with us......

The word:

"CANCER"

She, after continuous bleeding to the point of lowering her hemoglobin to 4.6 and raising it through blood transfusions. With even wrong diagnoses, she discovers after exams and studies that she was accompanied by that unexpected, silent and unwanted guest.

Cervical cancer. It was determined that in the stage that it is right now and the involvement of surrounding areas, it is not operable, so the chemotherapy process must be urgently started and then radiotherapy.

In a perfect world, treatment would be started, but there are some details to take into account.

Ginette is poor and she lives with her family in Venezuela. As we all know, the public health system in Venezuela is not the most optimal due to the crisis in the country.

It is not free, so all this must be done in the private health area.

Although her direct family (her siblings) contribute financially, the cost is so high among studies, treatments (Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy) and medications, added to the fact that she requires transportation and lodging since the hospital is far from hes hometown.

Due to all this, we very kindly request financial help for her.
