La Clinica Mariposa Chiropractic trip to Costa Rica

My name is Sam Nelson, and I am in the last year of my Chiropractic Graduate School training and I have the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica.  For three weeks I will be awarded the chance to treat the native people of Costa Rica who are not able to get regular consistant health care.  While we are down there we work Monday through Friday 8-5, unpaid, and see 150-200 patients a day.  The benefit that I get from this is the experience of treating a large quantity of patients that will be put towards my graduation requirments.  This is a humbling experience for me in that I will be able to see how much you can change a life in such a short amount of time.  The money I am lookiing to raise will cover my flight, room and board for the three weeks, and meals.  Currently there are no fundraising options on campus so that is why I turned to the website, and our trip is scheduled for September 26, 2014 through October 17, 2014.  I am very thankful for any donations given to this cause.
