• WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WE'RE TRYING TO SOLVE?
• As of October I will be heading out to El Paredón, on the Pacific coast of Guatemala to work on a project called La Chuza Chula. La Choza Chula is a small non-profit which helps children, young people and their families benefit from the growing surf tourism in the area, focussing on education, entrepreneurship and arts. However with any project like this, the funding is minimal and therefore any financial support they receive will go such a long way in helping La Choza Chula's development. It needs financial backing in order to run and also help fund future projects in the community.
• WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?
• Already La Choza Chula has been involved in the creation of a library and is currently working on building a school in conjunction with another NGO, yet it needs more financial backing to really support these projects. Therefore if you could put any money in, however small, it would be invaluable. • HOW WILL THE MONEY BE SPENT?
• All the money received will go directly into the project, having a huge impact in helping support it and impacting the local community. None of it will get wasted on admin fees, companies etc etc, but will really be used to buy resources and the like which are vital for the community. All of this will be documented by me on camera so you can be kept up to date with developments and how they money you have contributed has benefitted the La Choza Chula.
