Kym’s Marathon to End Leukemia & Lymphoma

I find it very disturbing that so many people have cancer. Everybody knows someone that is affected by this horrible disease whether it be a family member or a friend. Years ago the average person might know a friend of a friend that was diagnosed with cancer but now it seems that everyone has personal experience with this disease. It does not seem to matter how well you take care of yourself, this nasty stuff attacks for no reason. I recently found out that a friends 2 year old has leukemia. It's one thing for this disease to attack adults, but for it to go after children is just heartbreaking. We need to help the families that are going through this and we need to help the researchers find a cure! I'd really like to be a part of the reason a cure is found! I will be participating in a half-marathon and have a goal of fundraising $3000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. If you can, please sponsor me for this important cause.
