Campaign Story
The team behind this campaign comprises people passionate about helping Ukraine to address its challenges.
Before the Russian invasion on February 24th, this meant working on issues affecting Ukraine's economic development. After February 24th this came to mean doing whatever we can to support Ukrainians under siege.
The money collected through this campaign will be used to purchase medical supplies for a Kyiv-based Ukrainian combat unit which lacks the basic equipment it needs to save lives on the battlefield. The unit is in urgent need of:
- Portable ventilators, circuits and masks
- Intraosseous vascular access systems
- Bone injection devices
- Burn dressings
- Tourniquets
- Hemostatic gauze
- Emergency (a.k.a Israeli) bandages
- Splints
- Chest seal pads
The team is ready to procure and dispatch this equipment rapidly, while it remains possible for supplies to enter Kyiv.
