On the 12th of April 2019 four people from Kwekwe, Zimbabwe will embark on the Everest Base Camp Trek to raise funds for various charities and increase awareness of these worthwhile causes that are very close to their hearts.
Ken and Beda Connelly and Joe and Shingi Ferreira are walking to support three local charities and an institution that plays a central role in the betterment of the community. They are Age WIth Dignity, Lynbrook Homes, the Kwekwe and Redcliff SPCA and the Kwekwe Sports Club.
They are funding the trip themselves and are not asking for any assistance with these costs but would like your support and generosity to help them raise funds for their charities and follow them on their journey. All donations will aid our efforts to keep these charities operating.
*Should you wish to donate towards a specific charity then please let us know and we will set your donation aside for that charity.*
