Krystal’s Krew-Amazing Race for Children’s Wishes

Hosted by the Coronado, Coronado Cays and Navy Yacht Clubs, this day of adventure is modeled after the TV show "Amazing Race", with a variety of team challenges followed by a great party with auctions, food and a live band at the Coronado Yacht Club. 

Thank you for supporting Team Krystal's Krew as we hope to reach our goal and to celebrate our success with a fun-filled day of challenges at the Amazing Race for Children's Wishes!  Each team will consist of 10 riders and each of those riders hopes to raise $250 or more towards making wishes come true.

Krystal is currently an intern at Make-A-Wish San Diego and a former wish kid.  Being diagnosed with cancer at the young age of thirteen can be difficult, but when Make-A-Wish stepped in and gave her the trip of a lifetime her spirits were lifted tremendously! Krystal and her family got to set sail on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas and bring light to a hard situation. Now twenty-two years old and graduating college in May, she hopes to give back to other children what Make-A-Wish was able to give her, faith, hope, and the joy of feeling like a normal kid again!
