Between the 7th and 11th June 2017, Kranshoek and surrounds was destroyed by a unprecedented wildfire which ravaged the Cape South Coast Leaving over 500 homes gutted and thousands of people displaced and destitute. Fortunately donors have opened their wallets and homes to alleviate the immediate distress by donating food, clothes etc.

While this is a brilliant short term effort, our concern is for the medium term ( 6 Months).

While we are mourning the tragic loss of life of some of our friends who died fighting the fires, many people have literary lost their livelihoods, due to fire damage and will have the effect of having countless people destitute if no assistance can be obtained to kick start their businesses ,and job opportunities again.

Our Fundraising campaign will be directed at assisting small rural agriculture and home concerns while attempting to repair their infrastructure lost or damaged due to the fire.
