KosmicareUK Yurt Fund

KosmicareUK needs funding. We need a new Yurt to provide a safe-space in which to operate and a number of other things such as a Van and camp gear.

Kosmicare UK is a service dedicated to helping people undergoing difficult drug-related experiences at festivals and music events. We set up a safe space where people in crisis can find tailored support by experienced therapists. This idea was born from a harm reduction program created by the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and Diogo Ruivo from Boom festival in Portugal.

Presently Kosmicare UK is a constituted community group, run by a group of dedicated volunteers and funded through donations and gifts.

Although drugs are banned by law, some people will take them nevertheless and this can be overwhelming at events. Many such people need a safe space and support rather than medical intervention or security involvement. Kosmicare provides this in a way that encourages a negative experience to be turned into a positive healing experience or a process of self-awareness and self-discovery.

We do not encourage the use of illegal substances. We are non-judgemental, not pro or against personal choices, we are just there to care.
