Koinè is a band formed by three Brazilians and two Italians based in Porto, Portugal, and will release their first album of original songs in 2021.
The record consists of eleven original compositions and involves the work of several artists such as Marcelo Amazonas, Cristóvão Bastos, Mauricio Ribeiro, Attilio Zanchi visual artist Viola Mariotti and photographer/producer Ana Carvalho. The recordings sessions will take place at ARDA Recorders studios, in Porto, with Carlos Fuchs as the sound engineer.
The desire to make a record originates from the necessity for composers to share their work with the audience. In Koinè, all band members are composers and this common need brought them together in this project that now needs your help.
