Look around you. What do you see? 

Life, in all it's must have now, immediate satisfaction, insta-gratification, tell everyone about it dependancy on technology.

Internet, mobile phones, tv's, computers. People living lives on-line, communicating in the blink of an eye from across the globe.

All this progress in less than 100 years.

What have we lost? The ability to fend for ourselves. As we embrace this instant, one click and pick society, we have lost the knowledge to be self sufficent.

Look at how much we depend on technology and electricity.

What if something happened? The power didn't work anymore. It has happened before.

The Carrington Event. Google it.

Imagine that happening today? Or an attack on the infrastructure?

Imagine having no power, no communications, no food in the supermarket. How would we survive?

We have lost those skills. 100 years ago we had them.

Why am I looking for money? I need to raise money to build a website, to collect these forgotten skills. The site will be a place to collect documents and writings to re-educate and inform in the forgotten skills.  Various articles and documents already exist on the internet but have never been collected in one place before. Think of this like an Ark of knowledge.

In time the collected works will be published into a book and made available for sale. A durable and easy to understand book that will cover everything you need to know to survive and thrive.
