Mabuhay!

A professional Philippine folk dance company named Kaisahan ng Lahi Dance Ensemble (or KLDE, managed by spouses Radel and Annabelle Judith Lopez) recently received an invitation from Cultures de Monde (a non-government organization but adheres to UNESCO’s philosophy) from Gannat, France to represent Philippines in various cultural events of the ‘46th Gannat Festival Cultures of the World’ from 17 to 29 July 2019.

KLDE’s entourage of 25 members will be among the featured groups, composed of 300 artists from around 15 countries, 5 continents who will participate to represent their respective countries’ culture through music and dance.

Although the organizers will provide for full-board accommodations and land transfers while on tour, the group shall be responsible for the cost of visa processing, round-trip airfare (from Manila, Philippines to Gannat, France and vice versa), including baggage/cargo load, medical insurance and pocket money.

On the group's behalf, I am initiating this fund raising project to help the members, mostly students and young professionals, solicit financial support, for whatever amount, to help raise the target amount of PHP100,000 per participant (or PHP 2.5 million in total).

Your support, in whatever amount, will help augment these extra costs.

Be rest assured that the group will best represent the rich culture and traditions of the Philippines in one of the centerstage of the culture and the arts in a global arena.

Thank you in advance for whatever support you can give.
