PROBLEM

Most students don't have the luxury of buying a digital piano, let alone a physical one. They can barely cover the tuition expenses.

SOLUTION

Any digital piano starting as low as 400 euros would make a kid happy, and there is nothing better in this world than a happy kid.

WHAT WE NEED

We currently need -at least- 1 digital piano to maintain the PianoRecital & PianoMasterclass series, as well as -at least- 2 digital pianos to maintain our GroupPianoLessons and PianoCamp series.

WHAT I HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED

I currently buy and maintain MYSELF all the required equipment for my teaching needs (whiteboards, monitors, keyboards, headphones, monitors, mixers, speakers, recording units, desktops, laptops, software, tablets, WiFi spot, etc).

I also provide my own Yamaha 3C-E grand piano for study, recording and performance of my students, whenever possible.

WHO AM I?

My name is prof. Kosmas Lapatas and I am an Award-winning pianist & pedagogue.

I am the founder of the GroupPianoLessons, PianoRecital, PianoOpenDay, PianoMasterclass and PianoCamp series.

Since 1995 I have devoted my life entirely to teaching the piano to infants, kindergarten, kids, teens and adults.

I have taught at conservatories, public & private schools, colleges, orphanages and institutions.

MY PHILOSOPHY, VISION & MISSION

My aim is to introduce the magic of piano through classical, crossover, contemporary, avant-garde, minimal & film music to all my students.

MY SHORT BIO

I studied Classical & Modern Piano, Piano Pedagogy, Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue, Musicology, Music Therapy, Music Technology & Production and Computer Composition.

I have attended intensive master classes in Piano Performance & Pedagogy, Music Education & Technology, Chamber Music and Conducting.

I have received awards in Piano Performance, Composition, Music Education and Conducting.

My tutors were trained by iconic classical musicians such as Anda, Boulanger, Brailowsky, Curzon, Enescu, Guerrero, Hindemith, Horszowski, Hubert, Kortone, Leteiner, Lhevinne, Marcus, Markevitch, Messiaen, Moravec, Musulin, Naumov, Neumann, Ogdon, Orff, Sebok, Serkin, Skoda, Slenczynska, Solomon, Svetlanova, Tocco, Vlassenko.
