KLAP Free Music Events

KLAP is a free music event held at the Quezon Memorial Circle once a month. The local government has given support by offering us the venue and basic PA sound system at no charge.

KLAP offers a stage for unknown singer-songwriters to share their original work. With continued efforts, the event hopes to help identify a distinct Pinoy sound, much like how clear the KPop music is.

As it is, these artists receive just a simple snack box and meager transport allowance - not at all proportional to the efforts of time and talent they put into their work and in performing.

This December 9, KLAP will be tweaked so that it will be a Songwriting Competition, where there will be recognition to songs which show promise, thereby giving encouragement to the artists.

These artists will be happy with your heartfelt applause, to be sure, but they will be deeply joyous to receive remuneration.
