Kitties Need Help with Shelter Running Costs

Running an animal sanctuary is alot of stress, the biggest stress is always how to make ends meet. People always asking for help but very few of those ever financially help support the animal they found. These cats are no longer dying in the streets, their broken bones and rotting flesh have been treated, their broken hearts and fears are mending, they are not dirty and infected with parasites, no, they are safe. So here I am, with a house full of cats both at KG and at home, working freelance as I needed a break from corrupted institutions, trying to not only feed the cats, but also frequently deflea them effectively in a hot climate, deworm them, their meds when they get sick and vet fees when they get into trouble, pay the rent, bills. .. My landowner is all so nice which keeps my running costs low but still too much for one person. I am at full capacity, some cats left coz it was too crowded but the messages continue. I spay and spay cats and hope there will one day be an end to this. Please don't txt to tell me, stray cats are not "safe" where they are. This is Cyprus, cats are everywhere, some will live and many will die, this is our reality as animal welfare volunteers. If u want them to be safe, take them home, don't burden them on to crowded shelters, don't relocate them or move them to a park, dont play cry baby on fb about 1 cat you found but are not substantially willing to help, just don't. Be a fucking human and help an animal in need and spay your damn neighbourhood cats, they don't have to be yours to care for them, feed them, leave some water and be compassionate. If you have any euros left, donate here or any other animal rescue group in need. I see so many wonderful rescuers receive no help because they make ends meet.... This is what they let u think, they are too proud to beg, too honest to lie, too tired of everyone's bull shit but I have seen people walk away and never look back. I am one of those, I walked away from stray cat colonies and never been back, because I couldn't do it anymore, 80% of my income and personal time was spend on strays. I owe it to myself and the colony of cats i have rescued and accumulated at KG to give them a quality life and a chance of a home. Since i received 100euro in donations the last 5months, I will have to start considering closing the shelter doors and retiring. I am currently only spaying neighbourhood cats, what I believe is the source of the problem. If u want to adopt pm.
