Kitchen In Calais

My name is Sofinee Harun. Me and my husband Jamal Ismail set up a kitchen in Calais Jungle which provide 1500 hot meal everyday.

We have been running the project which started with providing stoves and gas bottle since a year ago.

As the eviction announce by The French Government and we now looking at reorganise and plan up for mobile kitchen. Until The Jungle been clear, we will keep feeding till the last day we can.

We will need YOU more than ever now. As our funding will increase due to us not able to stay 'free' in the camp anymore. We will have to rent a base to start the cooking as soon as the kitchen been demolish although until that really happen, we will stay in the camp as usual.

For sure this is when the people will need help more than ever. We can only work around any obstacle with YOUR help.
