kisses for kristy is a fundraiser for my wonderful mother. The last year she has been very sick. My husband and myself live with them because they need the extra help running the farm, and household tasks. My mother can’t even lift above 10lbs. Doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong with her except that she has an autoimmune disorder, IC, and various unrelated diagnosis’ recently she was accepted into the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. However, she was declined due to too many applicants. So we pushed forward and found that the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida will take her. She has an appointment to be there by November 6th. The catch is that because it’s out of region, her insurance will not pay anything. The Mayo is the #1 medical facility in the country. I just don’t want to see my mother sell the house, and everything they own to get seen and treated. They took me in and gave me a second shot at life after my divorce. By financially supporting me, my nursing school finances, and everything my child needed put their retirement back at least 5 years. Anything will help.
