Campaign Story
Kinslee is a sweet, loving, snuggly 2.5 year old with special needs. Kinslee has Agenisis of the Corpus Callosum, this means that the fibers that connect the two halves of her brain....never developed. In return she was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome (Epilepsy) and Cortical Visual Impairment. She can only see lights and figures. Her brain and optic nerves struggle to communicate. Kinslee is severley behind developmentally. She can't sit or support herself. She goes to therapy 2x a week and does therapies at home each day.
We are working on getting Kinslee a service dog, that will be trained for seizures and anxiety/Comfort.
We are looking at getting a Labradoodle. They are great small service dogs that will be perfect for Kinslee, as well as being hypoallergenic since Elias is allergic to dogs.
The dog alone will cost around 2,500. I am unsure of how much the training will cost at the moment, I will update once I get more info from the trainer.
We truly appreciate any amount donated. This is going to be life changing for Kinslee.
