Our Story
We're two aspiring filmmakers with plenty of writing and still photography experience looking to step back in time and enter the world of Super 8 film. Meditating upon this medium, we came up with what we believe to be a rather interesting idea for a dramatic short film about a man whose life takes a turn for the worst. We plan to, through strong imagery and sound, as well as acting, convey the emotional depth which this chain of events evokes.
The Impact
By completing this project, we are exposing the public to a rich and wonderful medium which we believe deserves more play in the modern world. As well as that, we're making several statements on different vices of human society, as well as the fringe of the human psyche and the point to which one man to witstand the sudden crash of his world upon him.
What We Need
While making a film is fun, it does come at a price. This is where you guys come in. We're going to need a fair amount of film, processing, and actors, as well as funds to enter various film festivals. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
