The objective of this fundraising initiaitive is to build a kindergarten in the community of a small coastal  town called Teluk Intan (which means Diamond Bay) which is in Perak -  a northeast state in Peninsula Malaysia. Located in a small district of Changkat Jong with about 23000 people supported by plantation and fishing as the main economic activities, it has  about 1,200 children below the age of 6 who are eligible to acquire pre-school education in the next 3 years. Unfortunately, about 5% of them may not be able to enjoy this essential phase of early education as they come from poor families .Furthermore, some of their parents do not have the awareness or education background to appreciate the need to provide this essential pre-school education for their children. In October, 2014, a non-governmental organization called "Persatuan Kebajikan Komuniti Changkat  Jong Hilir Perak" (or in English the " Hilir Perak Changkat Jong District Community Welfare Association ) was formed to help this community to understand the importance of pre-school education and build an affordable kindergarten. For a start, we require about RM250,000 or USD80,000 for this project to focus initially on a target of 200 children for the year 2016/2017. As such, we would like to reach out to all the generous hearts out there to help us raise the funds as soon  as  possible  for  us  to  launch  this  project  for  a worthy cause.

HELP  US  TO  HELP  THEM ; FOR  YOUR  GENEROSITY  WILL  ENSURE  THE  FUTURE  OF    THESE  CHILDREN  AND  THE  COMMUNITY  WHERE  THEY  DWELL  IN !
