Please, help to give poor kids the Kindergarten of their dreams! Right now they have nothing, not even at home. In the Kalahari Desert is the small, poor municipality of Stanpiet situated; the municipality has allocated a piece of land and has established a Kindergarten but there is no money for playground equipment like chutes, see-saw, swings etc..., benches, toilets and an effective shelter against the blazing sun. The municipality has erected two small (useless) tin houses as shelter where the temperature raises well over 70 degress Celsius by noon i.e oven. By raising $ 5200 we can change it all i.e. build 3 toilets for staff, boys and girls; the toilets will be equipped with flushing systems and will not be earth closets. The shelter with benches will be a big open-air pavillion and the playground equipment will consist of all the components the kids like most. The newly created environment will be of benefit to ALL of the kids in the municipality and not just a few. Our group of volunteers is building "charity bridges" to the poorest of the poor in the remote arears of southern Africa and those kids in the Kalahari are close to our hearts; for kids in the cities all over the world a well equipped kindergarten is a matter of course, lets give the same to the Kalahari kids.
