Kidney Transplant, Treatment and Medicine for Gerry – Siblings Love Journey

Dear family, friends and beloved, we started this campaign for my brother, Gerry Sales to help us raise funds in preparation for his KIDNEY TRANSPLANT, medicine and treatment.

Our Family - My brother, Gerry is the youngest among four sibling and has been under Dialysis Treatment for almost four(4) years.

It was year 2000 the saddest year of our life, when our eldest brother lost his battle from the same disease and being in the same situation after 21 years really sadden us.

June 2017 when Gerry was rushed to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing and eclampsia. All the required care and test were done to identify the cause. After days of waiting, he was instantly diagnos with Chronic Kidney Disease where his left and right kidney lost 80-90% of its function. Emergency dialysis was done immediately to lower the risk of more water build up in his body that will worsen his eclampsia and might lead to poisoning of his blood if not treated. Because of his condition, being hooked up to a machine that removed the waste and extra water build up from his body and helped to control my blood pressure.

Until now, dialysis treatment every two or three times a week for 4hours has become a weekly routine to sustain his life and it was never easy. There were times his hemoglobin would critically drop due to complications and undergo immediate blood transfusion.

For the past 4 years of battling the disease, Kidney Transplant is the only option we have to help him regain the quality of life and escape the life threatening hours of dialysis treatment. As her older sister, I'm stepping up and asking your help to make all this happen. Looking forward to see Gerry being healed and become happy again gives us full hope and making our faith stronger . We will do all that we can to help him live a normal life again together with his wife and only son.

The surgery, medicine and treatment is expensive. Even our combined finances could no longer cope up with the cost that's why we created this fund raising to humbly ask for financial help so that he has a fighting chance to undergo the transplant and enjoy life even further. Any amount will be a big help for us. We will keep everyone updated regarding the progress of his medical condition.

All is possible with God. As a family, we continue to fight in prayer that our brother will recover and all this too shall come to pass. We continue to rest in God's sovereignty and grace. Indeed, the Lord is the only One who sustains us.
