Campaign Story
Joel is receiving a life-saving kidney on March 17th, 2022. He has nicknamed it "Patty" since the operation is on St. Patrick's Day.
Patty will be making the move of a lifetime thanks to the indescribable generosity of a fellow human.
Joel Laurier, who has agreed to host Patty for the longest homestay imaginable, happens to be a very much loved, hard-working father of three boys, an EFL educator to Japanese university students, and a friend to many of us.
We would like to see Patty get settled comfortably in this French Canadian, then live a long and prosperous life together. We all know the expenses associated with such a major operation and Joel will not be able to work for some time. Your contribution to Patty’s healthy future would be greatly appreciated.
Let’s create our own narrative of what people will do and talk about in 2022.
