Richard D. Aloro is the son of Pastor Ramelio Aloro and Stella Dolorso-Aloro. He is the eldest of two boys and is known as “Joboy” to family, churchmates, and close friends. He grew up in a Christian home and committed his life to the Lord Jesus when he was still a teenager. The family are currently residing in Bacolod City.

Joboy has given himself in serving the Lord as the youth pastor of the Youth Ministry of his church, The Lord’s Lampstand Christian Church (TLLCC) and continues to serve in this position up to today. The Lord has used him mightily in bringing many youth members at the foot of the Cross. He was also one of the worship leaders of TLLCC and he joyfully served in this function until the time he was diagnosed to have kidney disease last December 2017.

It was found that he initially had a heart failure which went undiagnosed for several years until it affected his kidney. Since the diagnosis in 2017, his kidney failure has worsened overtime, and he currently undergoes dialysis twice a week which is 4 hours and 30 minutes every session. Because he has END STAGE RENAL DISEASE (ESRD), his treatment options are limited to dialysis or a kidney transplant. Regular dialysis helps his kidneys do their function, but a kidney transplant would offer him more freedom to do regular activities and give him chance to live longer. In order to have kidney transplant, he will need Php 1,900,000. A staggering amount for his family to come up with!

Because of this, his friends and local church are campaigning for your support and donations so that the kidney transplant will push through before January 2020. We urge you to prayerfully include him and his family in your intentions and if you may help and support this endeavor.

Joboy’s life has been and is an instrument to bring more youth to Christ and to be model members of society. Let’s do our best to help him get the best chance to live a longer life.

The Php 1,900,000 will go to the following uses:

  • Php 1,000,000 will go to the Foundation who will help provide a kidney donor
  • Php 600,000 will go to the PhilHealth Z Benefit Package
  • Php 300,000 will be for the medical workout of both the patient and donor
