Kidney transplant for Patrick Kilonzo

My name is Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua and for the last 3 years have been working towards water management solutions for wildlife in Tsavo ecosystem. While I have been delivering water to wildlife I have also been receiving dialysis because my kidneys failed 4 years ago. My brother has generously offered to donate me one of his kidneys but I have not been able to afford the transplant surgery up to this point.

I have just registered my organization as a Trust here in Kenya and I realize that I will be able to do so much more for wildlife when I am healthy, so I am trying to prioritize my health and aiming to get a transplant early 2019. I must travel to India for the procedure and the cost of the travel, surgery, hospital stay, post-operative care, and essential medication after the surgery is approximately $30,000 (I'm awaiting exact quotes from the doctors and will update as soon as I have them). This page is to ask for your kind donations towards my transplant so that I can continue working for wildlife here in Kenya.
