KIAYA’S SURGERY

Last Thursday evening we took in this sweet 9 week old little girl. She is believed to have Mega Esophagus. We had our primary vet see her Friday morning and we now have an appointment scheduled for February 12th at The Ohio State University to get a concrete diagnosis. Right now she is stable and doing amazing. She has a full time medical mom taking excellent care of her. She will be having testing done and if it's recommended by the specialist then we will do whatever is needed for her. We will not know any of the costs until that day. KAIYA BOO UPDATE:

Kiaya was officially diagnosed with PRAA. However with the current diet and regimen I have her on there has been NO notable damage to the esophagus!!! 😍😍😍 Her surgery is scheduled for March 6th at noon. They do not do this laparoscopically as I had hoped... so they will be cutting open her chest and she will remain in ICU overnight.
