Campaign Story
A large number of alcohol consumption related accidents are recorded each year despite #arriveAlive call to actions. It is high time that curbing these accidents ceases to become the responsibility of traffic officers and the individuals but a community responsibility.
This campaign seeks to remind and redirect the young persons mind to the fact that speeding towards ones full potential is surely better than speeding towards cutting your life short.
I believe that young people are the solvers of todays problems, they carry gold ideas and innovations that will shape this country. I believe that they are the catalysts to igniting a progressive rebellion that builds up the countries systems, they not only find faults, but they make the faults work for good.
The long term of objective this project is to start seeding behaviour shift in young people by developing a space where they are groomed to become drivers of innovation and problem solvers of their time.
Through the data we will collect in the campaign period we will reach out to them to start a movement where young people are encouraged to speed towards their dreams and potentials instead of speeding recklessly under the influence of alcohol.
The milestone is to curb the records of alcohol related accidents by 50% through the first campaign and connect 150 young people to life coaches that will train them in the first quarter of 2020.
We would like to reach a target of R120000 these funds would be used to secure the venue for the skills development centre and the resources needed to run it.
