Kenzie’s NYC Dance Trip

On March 16^th 2013 my daughters dance team (“Spotlights”) was in a dance competition in Minneapolis, MN.  They did so well that the judges chose them to be invited to a weeklong dance camp in New York City this summer in July.   This is a huge opportunity for Makenzie.  There were only 4 teams selected for this camp and her team was the youngest. 

In order for her to go to this camp, a parent needs to attend with her and that doubles the cost to go there.  Unfortunately this is not a free event.  We have to come up with money to fly there and also the convention fees(which includes hotel and entertainment).  This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity and I really would love to give it to her.  The bad part is we are not rich and do not have the means to go without any help.  We are completely on our own for fundraising or getting donations. The total cost is $5000 and any amount helps.
