KENYAN COMMUNITY FACED WITH SEVERAL PANDEMIC 2020

This year 2020, Kenyan as a country is faced with several problems .Which has contributed to the fluctuation of the economy .Forcing Kenya to use all machineries to safeguard the people from their problems which are increasing daily. The machineries are;

• The government itself and its non-governmental organization
• The churches with their faith organizations
• Civil societies
• Individual people

The following problems have affected the country

• The rain came earlier as expected that’s affecting the climate.
• January, February and March we faced the locust problem
• In March, April and May there was massive floods all over the Kenyan major rivers creating very serious destructive floods leaving innocent Kenyans without homes,food,beddings,medical living in camps.
• Before it is settled the world endangered the Covid-19, Therefore, in the all systems, Kenyan are in cry.

So each sector is trying to look for support to save the situation.

I Moses Makachia with my civil society called SHWARI came up with a component support from friends and well-wishers to safeguard our community in camps because of floods, with basic needs of food, Beddings, medications, face masks atleast to make our communities in camps comfortable and reduce infection diseases like malaria and covid-19 which are alike. Because in the camps the spread could be higher if only we control it

So, the floods and Covid -19 are alike because everybody must be confined. And be served from inner house. It’s hard and sympathetic situation.

Do we serve the people in the houses with Nil or support victims in the camp with Nil..

We therefore appeal to the generous communities to chip and support us to support the communities.

At the moment we expect to have USA Dollar Three Thousand Five hundred to be spent on June and July expecting the slow down of rain in August 2020.So maybe from there could assess if the community could go back to their places.

It will be our sincere gratitude to appreciate those that will be involved with either material contribution ,financial contribute and even in kind contribution ,because all will serve our community bring along the permaculture ethics of caring for the earth, caring for people and future sharing .

Then all will be blessed.
