My name is Bethan Millar and I am 14. 'Msaada Na Haruma' is the theme for this trip which means 'help and compassion' in Swahili. http://www.generationnextcares.org/ is the organisation my friends and I will be a part of, helping to open a new orphanage in Kibwezi this Summer. We long to show practical care and compassion to these children who need so much love by giving them our time and physical presence. When we go, the children will be joining the orphanage and we will be helping them to settle in.
I'd love to be a baby/children's nurse and I know that this experience will ignite fire in my heart for children whose need is very great.
Please support us to help us get out there, even if it's only £1! Every little helps and is much appreciated. :)
