KENYA SCHOOL OF LAW SCHOOL FEES FOR MY 2019/2020 ADMISSION

Hello everyone! My name is Raquel Brenda Otieno Oonga and I would like to begin by thanking you for taking this time to read my story! I am a student of law with a Bachelors' Degree from the University of Nairobi- Class of 2016.

Well, since my graduating from the University almost three years ago, I have been called twice to join the Kenya School of law's ATP Program which is mandatory before being admitted into the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. On both occasions, I have had no choice but to defer due to financial constraints, thinking and very sure in my mind that I would be able to save up enough money to have me join the school in the successive year after deferment. This, however turned out to be a difficult task for me as I have been living from hand to mouth with no other kind of support elsewhere. It has now been 2 years going on to 3 years if I fail to join the school this year. I have seen my classmates graduate from being lawyers to Advocates and my juniors waiting to be admitted to the Bar and this got me thinking that my career has been stalled; right afterwards, depression kicked in.
On 9th January, I received an email from the Kenya School of Law accepting my Admission into the Program which is to commence on 4th February 2019 but Registration ends on 31st January 2019.
I was overjoyed by this great news; here's another chance for me to pursue my dreams and advance my career. The admission letter however says that for me to be fully registered into the program and sign the nominal roll, I have to bring with me among other documents, proof of payment of school fees.
I have no friends or family I could really turn to for help and this is why I am turning to you well wishers and starting this GoFundMe Fundraiser for us to help me raise $2,500:- $2,000 of which will go into payment of school fees and the rest will go into transport and settling down before tuition starts.
