The aim this year is to raise money for our continuing projects in Nakuru, Kenya and for the Rocking Horse Appeal in aid in the Royal Alexander Children’s Hospital in Brighton.
I aim to SWIM 1 MILE run the BRIGHTON MARATHON and then cycle from BRIGHTON to PARIS and back. Commencing on Saturday 5th April 2014 with the swim followed by the marathon on the Sunday 6th April and on Monday 7th April the cycle ride to Paris and back.
NAKURU KENYA
This year our aim is to set up and equip a vocational training center in Nakuru, to teach young people construction skills which will enable them to participate on future projects in their community.
If you can, please help us to meet the biggest challenge so far.
Below are links which show the successful projects over the past four years. These include building and refurbishing classrooms, building and equipping kitchens for schools and orphanages in Nakuru.
Each year students from City College in Brighton raise their own money to travel and work on these projects. To date 31students have been involved and had a adventure of a life time.
ROCKING HORSE APPEAL
We are raising money to set up a support group for children and teenagers, with long term illness, at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton
