My wife and I have been a foster home for rescue dogs brought in for KPR for several years. While KPR does provide funds for vet expenses, they do not have the funds nessecary for everyday needs such as food, crates, leashes, and gas for transporting dogs. These expenses are paid by the foster homes. While talking with people who attend KPR events one of the main reasons why they are unwilling to be a foster home is lack of funds for these essential items. My plan is to organize a fund that will be distributed to all foster homes to help keep them in the foster program, and supply new foster homes with some needed items.
I encourage you to visit the KPR website: http://www.kentuckianapugs.com/
There you will learn about the pugs that are currently in the foster program, and stories of past adoptions. Here you can also donate to KPR directly to help with vet bills.
Thank you for taking the time to read this information, and know that any donations no matter how small will have helped rescue dogs currently in the foster program.
