Campaign Story
Kendra needs community support!! As an outdoor educator, Kendra isn't able to work right now!!
ACORNS NW Co-Founder Kendra needs help!
Most of you know that Kendra had been injured at the start of this year. Many have been asking what happened? Next questions is, how do we help?
Here is the story......Just after the new year on January 3, Kendra was crushed between a backing car and another stationary object. They have been asked to keep most details of the accident confidential, but wanted to share a little.
Kendra has been on bed rest and almost entirely immobile since the day of the accident. This has mainly been due to our healthcare system and delayed care.
**Update** 2/6/19 Today marks 35 days since the accident. Kendra is STILL ON BED REST & UNABLE TO WORK.
New FABULOUS doctor and attorney has been found. They are acting as swiftly as possible to ascertain a full and clear assessment of the injuries to determine the path to full rehabilitation.
Healing for Kendra has been VERY slow. She is unable to work and provide the basic needs while on bed rest. Today marks 35 days since the accident.
ANYTHING HELPS.
