Kelsey’s 2020 fencing campaign

2020 will be an exciting year for sports men and women worldwide. More so for the up and coming young talented fencers hoping to take part in the African and World Championships.

15 year old Kelsey is one such athlete. She has been fencing for Ghana for two years and is the current Cadet & Junior Women’s team Captain.
This year she represented Ghana at the African and World Championships in Algeria and Poland respectively.
In the U.K she won bronze in Sabre at the annual Public Schools competition, silver at the Leon Paul Junior series, South West England Sabre ladies Champion and one of 30 sports women honoured by Women in Sports Ghana for fencing and fundraising for her team.
Fencing is a sport that requires a lot of funding in order to compete. Costs include tournament entry fees, purchase of fencing kit, training, travel and accommodation when competing abroad.Most fencers have to come up with funds themselves as funding from sporting bodies and Government is not usually available, which means a number of talented fencers are not able to compete for this reason. Kelsey hopes to continue on her fencing journey with her team next year and kindly needs your support to fundraise towards these tournaments and every donation no matter how much helps.

The African Championships are being held in Ghana in February 2020, so a great opportunity for Ghanaian Organisations to support this campaign and get their brands out there.

Ways in which you can support:

• As a Company or Organisation your Company logo can feature on the Sports kit for a year or annually. Your brand will feature and be seen not just nationally but internationally as well. An illustration of where your brand can feature on the kit is in the photo gallery courtesy of Leon Paul London. Mask, gloves, socks and the jacket are all prominently seen and so will your brand.
• As a Company or Organisation you can make a general donation and publicity of your Organisation as agreed
