Kefalas is one of 40 cats that belonged to a cat lady in Kapsalos. When she got locked up in a mental asylum for dementia, her cats were left behind, locked up in a filthy basement or released in the park. We rescued over 30 cats. Kefalas is a male who's trust we never managed to win thus didn't catch him, so he lived in the park, fed daily by a volunteer. A month ago he came battered and worn out, on the brink of death. He was rushed to vet and a month later is still recovering. His urinary system was blocked, penis non retracting, his gums were infected and he suffered from diarrhea. In order to treat him, we had to do a blood test, xrays, FIV/L test and an operation to spay him, clean and remove bad teeth and unblock his urethra, remove the stones and fix his urinary problems. Unfortunately, we cannot afford his vet bill, as we are all swamped with bills from other rescues and fosters. Please donate to help us cover this poor cats bill. He lost his owner, his home and lived as a stray. If you can offer him a home, we would be delighted, as he needs specialty food and cannot be returned to the park. Pm me for more details. If u wish to donate directly to the vet, just say its for Kefalas to our clinic, At the Vets in Mesa Geitonia, Limassol. Thank you! Please share! To make a miracle, you need angels, be one of his! 💜

Time to go...

Update posted by Marina Evriviadou at 10:26 am

After 40days at the vet clinic, it is time for Kefalas to go back to the park. He is now eating well and is strong. Due to his feral nature we cannot rehome him. He will not allow anyone to touch him. Therefore we decided to release him back to. . . . .
