KEEPING YOUNG PEOPLE SAFE IN SCHOOLS IN ZAMBIA

We seek your partnership and support towards the 'Keep Every Youth Safe Initiative-School Outreach Project. The 'Keep Every Youth Safe Initiative-School Outreach Project is a five year programme that w launched in the year 2014 whose aim is to reach out to the Youth in Schools to ensure their holistic safety by teaching them good Christian principles and ways of living based on the Word of God and by ensuring that they learn in cleaner and safe environments. We believe that education is key to Development and Poverty reduction and that our Youth are the future hence the need to safeguard them. The project is our modest contribution to helping address rampant illicit activities in Schools such as violence, sexual immorality, thefts, Exam leakages and other behavioral misdemeanors and we are helping combat HIV/AIDS and Sexual Transmitted diseases in these learning institutions. Further the Project is our sure way of helping fill in the gap in terms of complementing our Government in ensuring that there are sufficient good learning Schools. The 'Keep Every Youth Safe Initiative-School Outreach Project has been sanctioned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Ministry of Education and a Memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been entered into with our organization the Citizens Welfare Concern (CWC). Under the project and in line with the MOU, CWC have further been mandated to renovate schools, build new schools, supply boreholes for clean water, donate medications to school clinics and also foodstuffs, and to support those vulnerable orphans in the schools to continue with their schooling by supporting them in terms of much needed school requirements such as books, tuition fees, pens, pencils etc. We have also been allowed to establish 'School Bible Fellowships' in the schools as part of establishing the learners in the good bible based morals that are taught to them. The 'Keep Every Youth Safe Initiative-School Outreach Project is a huge nationwide programme that requires financial and material support. That is why we are asking you to help us carry out this mandate. In terms of transport, we are in need of three vehicles, a truck, a mini bus and a 4 by 4 motor vehicle, three Motor Cycles as well as Bicycles for transportation and haulage. In terms of material support, we are in need of building; Food and medical materials, a Photocopying machine, Printer, and Video camera. We are looking to raise a total of $67,500 towards the project.
