Keeping the Faith

My son was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at 6 weeks (eye cancer) and due to the nature of the tumor, he needed to have his right eye removed. He has since then undergone chemotherapy, EUA and other treatments required. He developed a second tumor in his left eye which was also treated however only left him with 40 % vision.

He has now turned 13 after Doctors were unsure as to the timeline of his vision and his illness.

My son is 13 years old and has wanted to be a normal child living a normal life doing things that other kids at his age can do but unfortunately due to only having 40% vision in the left eye and the right eye a prosthetic eye, a normal childhood is only a dream.

He is currently in remission and can finally go to school however as a single mom I need to send him to a special school and try get all the required equipment for him as he can only see 40% which is not so cool when you are in school with kids whom have full good eyesight.

I would humbly like to ask for any assistance towards travelling costs, school clothing and/or school fees for my lil champ. A grateful heart sending thanks.
