Keeping my Daughter’s Dream

My daughter is in her second year at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, in Munich, undertaking the Media and Communication Management BA Honours program. She started in Oct 2016 and will be completing in March 2020. She has 4 more semesters, including the current summer 2018 semester, or
two more years left in her program for her to graduate. Her fees are E5670 (euro) per semester and her living cost is E1200 (euro) per month.

When she started her university I (her father) was employed and had planned her annual cost through my employment earnings.Unfortunately in Jan 2018 I was let-go from my employment contract. This affected the entire family's financial plan seriously. Being unemployed at the moment family income came to a stop but critical expenses, like education, remains. And at the same time I have a younger one in private international school at the same time.

In the past two months I have tried everything to create a cash-flow and I have not been successful (as yet). In the meantime my daughter's summer semester has started on March 15. I have already written and requested some assistance from the university with regards to the delay in paying her fees but more importantly at the end of this month my daughter will not have money for food and shelter!

With no sight of employment at the moment, and no other possible means of obtaining financial support to bridge the fund requirement, this campaign is my last attempt to raise the funds urgently for my daughter.

What drives me is giving the best I can for my children specially my daughter who has worked every inch of the way academically and achieved this opportunity and is doing extremely well academically. As a father it is my duty to provide her the required support and stress free environment by making sure her fees and living costs are there.

At the moment I am trying to bring my family and I out of these trying times. Through this campaign I am making an appeal to your kindness and the generosity of your heart in helping me to ensure that my daughter can continue her university education without a break.
