Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Westminster Adoption Group and Services Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Westminster Adoption Group and Services Inc: The entity provides the best quality of care, advocacy, and shelter for lost and homeless animals seeking new permanent loving homes. The entity cares for companion animals, investigates and combats animal cruelty, rescues neglected pets, treats sick and injured strays, and educates the community about humane issues and responsible pet care.
As of Thursday April 18, 2019, the proposed extended 2019-2020 year contract from the City of Westminster for WAGS to continue animal control services is only a 2% increase from the previous contract of $320,000 which is about $533 a month. This is not enough to cover cost for the upcoming year. WAGS has a week to raise $120,000.00 to be able to sign the extended year contract. Without the extra funds, WAGS will not be able to stay open.
