Keep Uriel Home

On September 18, 2014 an immigration judge signed a deportation order against my husband. He's lived his entire life HERE since the age of 13. For over 20 years, he built a life and a family with me here in the United State in the small town of Denton, TX. We have three beautiful children together. Adriana who is 15, Uriel Jr. who is 12 and our youngest, Cristobal who will soon be 10.

The unfortunate decision was handed down because the previous attorneys we had, to date, have FAILED to turn over documents that our new attorneys needed to prove why my husband should be allowed to remain in the United States.

We had hoped that our president would follow through on his broken promise of halting deportation to implement some prosecutorial discretion that would protect families like ours being broken apart. Needless to say, President Obama failed to follow through and now it may cost us our family.

Now we have one last shot to keep Uriel home where he belongs and we desperately need all our friends and family to join together and help us put up a fight to keep him here. Our attorney was able to reserve the right for us to appeal which in immigration hearings is very difficult to acquire, so if you're afforded the chance to appeal, its best to make use of it.

Below is the breakdown of the fees needed by October 16th to proceed with an appeal. Because it takes a couple of days for paypal to transfer funds, I've made the deadline of this fundraiser October 14th. Our family is also trying to see how much they'll be able to pull together, so as they provide an amount offline, I will update the page to reflect those amounts.

Many of you have been following what has happened to our family from the beginning and some of you are just now tuning in...either way, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the love, support, and prayers you've given our family. This tribulation has been long and tired, but I have faith that we can reach the light at the end of this dark tunnel with the continued love and support of friends and family.  No amount is too little and no prayer too small.
