Hello friends, i am taking up a project in the slums in my city. i have noted that during that time of the month when most girls are on their menses they miss class mostly because they cannot afford all the necessities to keep them in school. i have come up with this project to help educate teen girls in the slums on menstrual hygiene and education and also provide them with a kit to help them throughout this year.
I am kindly requesting you to help me raise the required amount so as to begin the project and keep the girls in school. The amount raised is going to buy kits for the girls that will include but not limited to: sanitary towels, cotton wool and innerwears. I also intend to set up a community centre in the slums where the girls can access just incase they run out of the supply and in cases of emergency. The centre will also educate the girls on sex education and early teen pregnancy.
