KEEP THE ORPHAN CHILDREN LEARNING

My name is Irfan Younas. I am from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. We are called by God to run an NGO, called ‘’Shalom Children Home Foundation’’. We are operating in Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.

Our vision is to assist children who have lost their parents or who have been abandoned by their parents for whatever reason. We started this organization in July,2014 and presently we have 7 children who are living in our center with us. I and my wife are appointed to take care of these children. We need to establishhouse for 18 children (6 boys and 12 girls).

This is an uplifting and care program for orphans and other vulnerable children. God has led us to take care of these children, providing them with love, food, shelter and parental guidance in a warm, homely and caring environment.

Many of them have suffered greatly at a very young age. When they arrive here we first take care of their physical and medical needs and then over time provide them with a safe haven where they can recuperate from all the wounds that life has dealt with them.

We aim to provide the Christian leaders for tomorrow and raise them along the principles of Christianity. Mainly that means providing them with LOVE. These children need food, clothes, shoes, books, copies, stationery, school bags, toys, school fee, medicines etc. To keep them at one place they need shelter also. To run the house, we need to spend in the form of rent of the building, utility bills, repair and maintenance etc.
