Ahoy there, me darlins!
Last year we raised £7.5k of our £15k target to build our Solar Powered Truck Stage, carry out vital repairs and to keep going. This was AMAZING, but we still need to raise the shortfall. We had to borrow some of it, which now needs paying back, and we still need to do repairs and make some vital purchases, so here we are again!
It all helped us keep going for another year, but without your help, 2016 could well be our last.
Something Else is in her 5th year of tiny, grassroots events and 9th year with the Something Else Tea Tent. Though technically a business, we are not-for-profit and have determinedly grown outwards rather than upwards. We're really proud of how we've evolved organically, and understand the need to keep doing so in order to survive. We keep ticket prices low and accessible, kids are free, we use micro brewers and source local produce wherever we are, and also make sure that all the acts get paid (up yours pay-to-play!)
So how can you help?
You can order the SE Compilation CD #2 or the SE Cookbook (recipes from crew and artists), commission a painting from Gail, (these will all be delivered in the winter), get a pass for the sold out Something Else in the Dean or just donate and we'll send you some love. We'll add some more 'rewards' over the next couple of weeks, and if you'd like to offer something, let us know.
You can also get the whole solar powered SE caboodle, including line-up, for a day in 2017!
Thank you for your continued support.
