Keep the Family Home

My best friend is on his last few days of extension before he loses his home. He has never done anything but work hard to support his children and give them what they need. Earlier this year he finally decided to put all his savings and his tax refund into purchasing the family's first home.

Shortly after this purchase though he came down with a bad case of pneumonia, it took him longer than normal to recover and it in turn lost him his job. He quickly was able to find a new job after, but disaster struck again when his car broke down in an irreplaceable manner before he even got his first paycheck.

In an effort to catch up the bills he sold his vehicle for scrap and a box truck he had intended to start a business with. It wasn't enough to catch everything up and purchase a vehicle with though.

We've exhausted all the traditional help such as government agencies and charities to help and none can. We've managed to get his power taken care of but there is still past due mortgage and the issue of transportation to work.
