Příběh Screenshotu začal v září roku 2019. Při svém uvedení byl popsán jako promítací místnost, kde nejen oceníte sérii kurátorských filmových programů v jednom z nejkrásnějších a nejhistoričtějších pražských podzemí, ale Screenshot vám nabízí i mnohem více.

Screenshot, který vytvořil a založil Payam Razi, absolvent režie FAMU a bez jakýchkoliv vazeb na finanční instituce, zahájil svou misi promítáním programu 50 mistrovských děl české kinematografie, po němž následovaly výstavy, hudební akce a filmové festivaly. Screenshot také hostil tisíce hostů ve svých barech a nabídl jim jedinečné filmové menu.

Proč tato kampaň?

Pouhých šest měsíců po jejím zrodu, se silnou vírou v její slogan „Pojďte pro film, zůstaňte pro komunitu“, se na obrazovce promítlo přes 70 filmů, zúčastnily se a zorganizovaly 3 filmové festivaly a uspořádalo se mnoho koncertů a večírků.

A právě když tento mladý sen úspěšně šplhal po žebříku směrem ke své slibné budoucnosti, pandemie otřásla světem a opustila Screenshot bez své komunity.

Nemohli jsme získat vládní podporu, protože Screenshot byl nově založený projekt a vzhledem k nedostatku finančních zdrojů ve světě nejistoty byla naše mise zastavena krátce poté, co jsme tuto cestu zahájili.

Ale nezastavili jsme se tam. S nadějí, že přijdou lepší dny, jsme začali obnovovat a předělávat náš prostor, zlepšovat naše návrhy a připravovat se na den, kdy můžeme pokračovat v tom, co jsme začali.

Můžete nám pomoci se vrátit!

Nyní, když se náš svět pomalu vrací k nám a protože všichni toužíme obnovit způsob života, který nám dlouho chyběl, je Screenshot více než připraven se vrátit. Ale vzhledem k současné finanční situaci a bez vaší podpory a darů to bohužel není možné!

A proto jsme zahájili tuto kampaň!

Váš laskavý dar dá tomuto novému prostoru nový život a zvedne ho, dokud se znovu nepostaví na nohy. Umožní nám to zaplatit nájem na několik krátkých měsíců, přivést zpět naše filmové programy, vybavit naše místo potřebnými položkami a hlavně znovu shromáždit náš personál.

About Screenshot :

Screenshot's story began in September 2019. At its opening, it was described as a screening room, where you not only appreciate a series of curated film programs in one of the most beautiful and historical undergrounds of Prague, but Screenshot offers you much more.

Created and founded by Payam Razi, a directing graduate from FAMU and without any ties to financial institutions, Screenshot started its mission by screening a program of 50 masterpieces of Czech cinema, followed by exhibitions, music events, and film festivals. Screenshot also hosted thousands of guests at its bars, offering them a unique cinematic menu.

Why this campaign?

In just six months after its birth, with a strong belief in its slogan "Come for the movie, Stay for the community" Screenshot screened over 70 films, participated in and organized 3 film festivals, and held many concerts and parties.

And just as this young dream was successfully climbing the ladder toward its promising future, the pandemic shook the world and left Screenshot without its community.

Unable to receive governmental support as Screenshot was a newly founded establishment and due to the lack of financial resources in a world of uncertainty, our mission was put to a halt shortly after we began this journey.

But we didn't stop there. With the hope of better days to come, we began to renew and remodel our space, improve our designs, and prepared ourselves for the day that we can continue what we started.

Now, as our world is slowly returning to us and as we all are eager to restore the way of life we have missed for a long time, Screenshot is more than ready to be back. But sadly, due to its current financial situation and without your support and donations, it is unable to do so!

And that is why we have started this campaign!

Your kind donation will give this fresh space a new life and lift it up until it stands on its feet again. It will allow us to pay our rent for a few short months, bring back our film programs, equip our venue with the necessary items and most importantly gather our staff again.
