Keep My Family Housed and Power On

Thank you to anyone reading this.

My name is Sabrina and I have a 12 yr old son, a 6 yr old daughter, and my youngest just turned 1 yr old. My husband is a disabled veteran and full time student who receives VA pay. For the past 3-4 months, the VA has really messed up his pay and we have only received $100 for the entire month.

Our power company is not working with us anymore and if we don't pay $400 (3 months worth by the 10th, our power will be turned off. Our phones will be turned off on the 11th and we are behind by $300 (3 months worth). Our landlord has been really lenient but their limits are pushed with working with us as well, we owe 1 month of $725 to them.

The thing is, my husbands pay is being corrected and on the 1st of October, we will be back on track, plus he will receive back pay for the months they shorted him. But we only have $50 to last us until the 1st and I am very scared for my children.

We have no groceries, barely enough gas money so he can get to school (which is what his pay comes from), and no power in the middle of summer in FL is going to be too much for us. I have asthma, as does my son. Our 6 year old has various health issues from an enlarged gland and allergies. We are not welcome at my mother's because of her religious beliefs, and my husband has no family to turn to.

We just need a little help to get us through until the first. Any assistance, information, direction...help of any kind that anyone can provide for my family would be so very much appreciated. I have never done anything like this, but I am so desperate!!! Thank you so much for reading my plea.
