Campaign Story
Yajna is a 16year old grade 10 pupil. Her father recently left the family with nothing but debt and provides no further financial support. Her mom, a wonderful lady who taught my son, teaches at an all boys school, which is why we want to help her provide the best education for her daughter. Yajna's mom has taken on the task of helping two orphaned children to learn and study english which has made the world of difference to these two souls.
Yajna obtained her Bronze President's Award medal in 2016 and is currently working towards her Gold. She has many accolades behind her name including a gold medal and the Young Science Expo and is a exceptional hard working student. She enjoys sport especially squash where she at her young age plays in the first team and second team for hockey. She is involved in community service, she recently engage with Rahima Moosa Children's Hospital in a project to update their database as well as completing a Residential project in Zambia. Yajna plays the piano as well as involves herself in house plays.
Her favorite subjects are Biology and Information Technology, her passion is technology and building/ repairing broken objects. She enjoys reading and participated in the Kids Lit Quiz in 2014.
Yajna's dream is to become a biomedical engineer and she would love to study at UCT when she maticulates.
Please help us pay her school fees?
