22214 is Kenya's first and only FREE mental health SMS line that provides information and support to Kenyans from across the country with information, over the phone counselling and referrals to psychologists and psychiatrists. Since inception in Sept 2014 during World Suicide Prevention Day celebrations, the line has successfully offered support to over 8000 Kenyans and would like your support to keep supporting more Kenyans. The $5000 will keep it up until the end of the year, pay for the internet needed for it to run and airtime to call those who text plus stipends for the volunteer counsellors who man the line.
